This item will included a staff presentation, comments from the public and Board action. Staff requested the TPO Board review/approve amendments to the adopted TIP which consist of candidate transportation projects that are included as part of Polk County’s Federal Economic Stimulus Proposal. Staff requested the TPO Board review/approve a prioritized listing of candidate transportation stimulus projects. These projects include highway, transit, transportation enhancement and aviation projects. Staff requested the Board to review/approve a resolution which authorizes the TPO staff director to amend the TIP as needed to ensure that eligible Federal Economic Stimulus projects are included in the TIP.
